I saw an injured black cat. God knows, who has crossed her path.

About This Quote

The first time I saw the black cat was on my first day at school. Everyone was trying to find their way around and I was afraid of being lost so I asked one of the teachers where the office was. She pointed, so I walked toward it. As soon as I walked through the door, I saw that black cat sitting right by her feet.

She looked up at me with sad eyes that said "Help me". I had never seen a cat like that before, all black except for her white paws. I felt very sorry for her and wanted to give her some food but there was none to spare.

So, instead, I let her know by patting her head softly, "Don't worry, the teacher will find you". The next day, she was still there. To me, it seemed like time stood still during those moments when she was sitting there waiting for someone to help her.
